Microsoft Outlook Web Acess emails on my iPhone
Hi,
Forgive me if this has already been answered previously, but i havent managed to find the answer. I recently got myself a iPhone on vodafone (i previoulsy had a blackberry) and i am having problems setting my work emails on my iphone. I have entered all the information it asks for when setting up a new email account, but i just cannot get it to connect and download the emails. Thanks guys |

It is very simple. All you need is to put your e mail address, password, description(whatever you want the account to be called) and the owa.**********.com for the server. That's it.
Make sure you press Microsoft Exchange when it asks what type of account you want set up. |

i have entered all this info but it then takes me to another page asking for the server name.
when i put in the web site we use to access our emails remotely, it then says "exchange account verification failed" |

if you have outlook on your main pc at home where u sync your iphone set up your work email account on this pc then open itunes and connect your phone, click on your phone in itunes then go to the info tab then scroll down and it will say sync mail accounts and select your work one then sync and all should be working. i found that i couldn't receive my emails by manually adding the account but this method worked a treat hope this helps.

That is because the web address of the OWA will be different from the address of your exchange server.

If you use Outlook at work go to Tools, email accounts and have a look at the setting all the info you want is there.
However if your company uses Blackberries as the standard handset the chances are that IMAP will not be enabled on your exchange server and they probably will not allow other devices to pull down email. |

Are you sure you are using the address of the OWA server and not the web address you enter?

I'm entering the web site address I use to access my emails. How do I fund the server name?

See post #9, zantaurus has suggested the answer several times.
Or ask whoever maintains the server what the address is. |
