Anyone what Mr Ambrosse has been up to since he was on The Apprentice ?

Maybe he's still working for Amsprop, one of Sugar's companies. He continued to work there for a long time after his apprenticeship was over, but I don't know if he's still there.

He's still listed as "assisting the Estates team" on amsprop's website. http://www.amsprop.com/about_amsprop.html

I'd guess that's not a £100,000 a year job.

Just proved the wrong person won.

How does that prove the 'wrong' person won? If I remember that original job was only a years minimum contract. Hes also still working with Amstrad which says something.

As far as Simon winning, while I do think Kristina would have been better suited, Simon was also a decent choice. Simons big error in the shopping challenge with the trampoline wasnt something he would be doing in usual work anyway AND his choice of the wheelchairs was the choice which earned the majority (if not practically ALL) the cash on his team.

But both were completely viable choices, both actually did well in the task despite some egging on by Simon with promises, something that matters little in the long-run of things. Maybe the only thing that tipped it in Simons favor was the risk-taking which SAS seems to prefer more over more conventional styles of work.

On the contrary, the fact he still has a working relationship with Sralan, long after the prize expired, proves he was the right person all along.

This might now better answer your question:

Simon Ambrose demonstrating the trampoline remains my fave Apprentice moment of all time.

Anyone else notice that Simon and Michelle are not in the BBC tv promo ad looking for new Apprentice candidate's? It shows the 3 other winners.

The shopping channel tasks definitely provide the best moments. My all time favourite is still Saira showing James the wolf jacket, but Simon and the trampoline is a close second! Followed by Raef in general.

I thought he was, walking in side profile. But looking tonight I think it's Adam Hosker (S3)

I just watched it again on youtube and my stomach actually hurts from laughing. It's Saira's scream when he puts the jacket on that gets me every time!

Saw the ad again tonight and they do show Simon. What I meant to say on my last post was, they only show apprentice winner's, Tim, Lee and Yasmina getting hired, but not Simon and Michelle. I just wondered why all 5 winner's are not featured like that?

You think it's Simon? I'll look again. Thought Simon had more hair (curlier). I think the ad's edit is just cut to time and rhythm with a bias towards more recent series. The BBC often thinks it's viewers are like goldfish.

I don't think there's a Simon didn't exist conspiracy. As in we landed on the moon but the footage of Tim, Lee and Yasmina being already there was faked.

I think it is Simon, but I could be wrong. Tim is from series one, Michelle series two, Simon series three and all three no longer work for Lord sugar, but the two recent winner's Lee and Yasmina still do. I'm thinking it's more than the BBC edit at work.

Some Simon news:-

Quote:
“Lord Sugar demands a canine-like loyalty from his employees. But he might be surprised to learn that this devotion extends to former staff.

For I hear that Simon Ambrose, winner of The Apprentice in 2007, and who only left his brusque employer this year, has bought a miniature husky — and named it ‘Sugar’.

Says Cambridge graduate Simon, 30: ‘Now I am self-employed, I have the freedom to look after a puppy. Lord Sugar was very good to me, plus the puppy is very sweet-looking. And I like the name, so I thought: “Why not?” ”
