Has he moved at all, to toilet for example? to drink?

Are there any other symptoms what could be wrong that you have noticed recently?

I would get the cat to the vet ASAP and if concerned overnight ring your emergency vet for advice too.

You know your cat best, if you think his behaviour is different, worrying and he appears to be in discomfort then I'd ring the emergency vets now and explain as much as you can to put your mind at rest at least.

But for sure get him to the vets in the morning.

Maybe you could put his water near him if he cannot make it to it right now.

I'm not a cat owner, haven't got much more help to offer sorry.

I would take the cat to the vet ASAP.

It always amazes me when people post their cats are ill and ask for advice on what to do!

I would be on the phone/straight down to the vets as my first point of call! Not posting on here!

Good luck anyway...and let us know how you get on.

I wrote over xmas about my cat not eating and acting odd
couldn't take to the vet straight away, had to wait a week before they opened
But he recovered after two days... eventually had him checked over, all seemed back to normal

We reckon he was raiding the waste bins outside and ate something bad

for gods sake! Common sense tells you take the poor cat to the vet. Would you allow you.re child to suffer all day? Well would you?

Cats are strange creatures - they can be up one day and down the next. Your own sixth sense is telling you something is amiss so follow your heart.

It may just be a tummy ache; he could have been in a fight (infection from another cat usually appears within 48 hrs - cloudy eyes is one indicator); he could have eaten something outside - has he been sick at all (if so, check what he brings up).

There are any number of reasons - so if worried at all, call the vet, make an urgent appointment and they will check him thoroughly. Let us know how you get on.
