Brazilian for me

German/American. Some people seem to be obsessed with the Soviet one, but then again I guess you would like if you had that sort of political allegiance, like a lot of students do.

I love the Italian national anthem and the crowds at footie matches always seem to enjoy singing it......unlike some anthems I could mention

Wales. I'm probably biased because I'm Welsh but I like that it's not about violence and killing people from other countries, it's just about loving and being loyal to your country.

Have to admit that hardly anyone here knows any of it apart from 'gwlad, gwlad'...

Actually, I've realise I prefer TV themes to national anthems. I think they've superceded them in terms of identification.

I mean, honestly, who's going to put poxy national anthems over their favourite TV theme?

I've never met anyone who doesn't know our national anthem! In every pub I've been in, if you're not standing up with your hand over your heart, bellowing every word, you get some very odd looks.
