They say 13th of March, and the first episode will be called 'The Eleventh Hour'. They also have official looking synopsises for episodes 3 and 4.

Most interesting. It appears theres only one Dalek episode, i thought it was a two parter. Perhaps it will be good to have a one parter with them in because the first was good. ala 'Dalek'. But it credits two daleks operators so perhaps there will be more than one dalek! Woot!

imdb is user edited so not really a reliable source of information at all. I could go there now and edit it to say it's airing this Saturday!

A cast list for EOT was posted there claiming Harriot Jones was going to appear in the story, for example.

The synopsis listed could have been lifted off any DW message board, btw, and probably were.

Well please do then. Maybe someone in the BBC control room will read it and think they made a mistake.

These are well educated guesses. I'm surprised they haven't said episode 3 is called Victory of the Daleks, because that's what people seem to think it's called at the moment.

Them Synopsis's sound fanmade to me from the information that we have known from the set reports

I wouldnt pay much attention to IMDB. Anybody can register and submit information.

The only date to take notice of is the one the BBC press office will confirm about two weeks before transmission.

No amount of speculation or fan wishful thinking will change that.

Well it is certainly NOT going to start on 13th March. If you check out the listings for Six Nations Rugby, on 20th March BBC1 has Rugby from 2.30pm until 10pm! That is confirmed on the BBC Press office page. So, they won't start the series one week just to take it off air for a fortnight! Although, they did with Survivors!

Indeed it won't. As a rugby follower, I'm well aware of the games lined up for March 20.

All the games are also going to be on BBC HD as well, so there is no room for Doctor Who until at least March 27. But try telling that to some over on Galifrey Base though. Some of them are still insisting it's going to be March 13 or earlier!

Hope we get dialogue like:

AMY: Doctor, there's a girl hanging from a blimp!
DOCTOR: Ah. Yes. Never mind about that.

Maybe that's just me! Timey wimey...

I like your thinking. That would be a nice little nod to series 1. Not sure the story will be set anywhere near that event or time in the war though. Maybe some British intelligence files are out on Churchill's desk and there is a picture of the bimps on the table with rose hanging off it?

Here's the schedule: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugb...es/4776295.stm . On March 13th, rugby's over by 18.45 at latest. And while they might show the later game on BBC1 and HD on the 20th, they may shunt Ireland vs Scotland onto BBC2. Even if not, still leaves a gap from 18.30 - 19.30 to show DW.

It would only need 45 minutes of course, and the news would take up another 15. Considering post-match analysis and pre-match previews though, the gap is more like half an hour than an hour, and besides, they won't show one episode then wait two weeks for the next like they did with Survivors (which was caused by a football postponement). They're already skipping a week for Eurovision. Believe me, wizzywick is right, DW won't be back before March 27th.

That's not going to happen. All the games are going to be shown on BBC1 and HD.

Pre and post match coverage, half time and any extra time will eat into any gaps between the games, so there's no room for Who until the 27th at the earliest.

Maybe you're right - I'd be surprised if it doesn't start till the 27th though as that means the last two shows will be on June 12th and June 19th. England play in the World Cup at 18.30 on the 12th and there's also a match on Sat 19th at 18.30. Maybe the beeb aren't showing either, but I can't see them airing DW on the 12th to clash with the England match on ITV.

Pretty sure those matches are on at 19:30 not 18:30, DW may have to start a little eariler than it usually does but they can still show it those days.

Yes. those games are 7.30 UK time, so plenty of room for Who at around 6.15 as a warm up.

The Who and football double bill worked well when the '06 World Cup was on. It will all be fine this time as well.

No. They'll break off for half an hour tops - for the news! Maybe the lottery draws too.
