But not likely to be episodes 3's actual conclusion! ;p
Mind you, these days for the Daleks a victory could be any encounter with the Doctor that doesn't lead to all of
them being ex-ter-min-a-ted.
Time War: The Doctor watched them burn. He
made them burn.
Dalek: the only Dalek in existence (or so we thought) kills itself rather than live with having been touched by Rose Tyler. Never before has the Doctor felt such empathy for a Dalek.
Parting of the Ways - "Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned" - Rose Tyler, stung by the Dalek's rejection, meets some more and commits genocide
Doomsday - The Doctor sends all the Daleks to the void except for four who use the emergency temporal shift, although judging from the ease with which things and people cross it or come back from it, I think the Void is probably just the name of a a café in Cardiff. Never one to let a good idea go by, the Doctor also tries to send Rose to the void, but is thwarted by Pete Tyler.
The Muppets Take Manhattan - once again, all Daleks, human Daleks, pig Daleks, frog Daleks and Dalek slaves are killed, except for one, who uses an emergency temporal shift.
Journey's End - All Daleks (except perhaps Caan) are killed by the Doctor's clone, also known as "RTD's worst ever hand job."
So I guess victory can be defined (judging by the trailer) as "Hoorah! Neither The Doctor nor his annoying girlfriend, nor his hand, kills 99.9% of us. Instead he just hits us with a large spanner and makes us wear a rucksack."
"Victory - it means something different to Daleks and the Liberal Democrats than it does to the rest of us."
