Swapping networks
I'm swapping from orange to virgin. I'm keeping my number. Have the pac code, rung them, and everything. Got a text from virgin saying that I'm moving to virgin on Jan 28th.
Will the number swap to virgin at midnight? or will I need to have my virgin simcard with me tomorrow, as the orange one will will stop working at some random point in the day? |

It will be at some random point in the day. Best to either have two handsets or keep a hold of your Virgin SIM and when your Orange one dies swap over.

Remember that the change isn't instantaneous. There can be quite a gap between the old SIM being disconnected and the new SIM receiving your number.
