Maybe Jim was just one of those very dated old fashioned people who didn't like blacks as a race but upon becoming friends with a black person didn't see it the same way. Must admit though, he was so over the top at Carol's wedding, especially since they had already been together for years.

Neighbours - I miss most of the early cast, Pal (Stefan Dennis), Charlene (Kylie of course), Kerry and Joe Mangel, did like Clive Gibbons too even though he was eccentric, and Paul's first wife, Terri. Maybe Danny Ramsay too.

Eastenders - Simon, David and Joe Wicks, Michelle Fowler and Bianca Jackson, Grant.

Corrie - Curly Watts (did they sack him??? Why???), Mavis and Derek, Hilda

Oh, I forgot to mention Henry Ramsay too, I really liked him.

Rebecca Elmaloglou (Sophie) from Home & Away except I'd bring her back in Eastenders.

Is that a really common surname in Australia, or is that actress anything to Sebastian Elmaloglou who plays Max?

Definitely Richard Hillman from Corrie, no question about it. He's the best character there's ever been in any soap, and the storylines were so great to watch.

They didn't sack Norman Watts, the actor (who's name escapes me now) decided to leave.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that he's her brother but I could be wrong.

I would bring back Matthew Rose in Eastenders but only because the steve/saskia/matthew storyline was really good but then he seemed to leave the programme suddenly (or maybe I missed a few episodes).

In Emmerdale I would bring back Bernice and Tricia, not because I particularly liked their characters individually but Bernice, Tricia and Diane all working behind the bar at the same time used to be funny.

Neighbours: Henry Ramsay and the lovely Bronwyn - also Clive Gibbons, a real blast from the past!

The Bill: Frank "Francis" Burnside and the near legendary Taffy Edwards!

In EastEnders id bring back Michelle Fowler, Joe Wicks, Carol Jackson, Kathy Beale, Grant Mitchell, altho I wouldnt want Phil Back!
Angie Watts whould be a good one but shes dead, altho they could do a spin off showing what really happened at the canal when Den got shot, and she could have been in that!
