We know it is. What we are trying to establish is:-

1. Why it only appears to affect Humax receivers?
2. Why it only affects some Humax receivers and whether there is any common settings between those affected and not affected?
3. Why some users who did have the rescan on every boot now appear not to have it (and have not done anything i.e. me) whilst other users still do?
Yes I was wondering that Richard as well. Apparently it seems to only be affecting the Humax HDR and not their ordinary none recording unit, strange? The Grundig that I am now using wouldn't be affected if it was at Freesat's end as it doesn't do a full rescan when a new channel is added, it just adds it.

Mine didn't ask for a scan today - back to normal, hopefully.

Incorrect. My (non-recording) Foxsat HD was also affected although it's now gone 2 days without a channel scan reminder. Perhaps the problem has been fixed?

Yep, mine seems to have stopped asking to retune aswell.

Just as well, as I was starting to lose the fight with Mrs C. about why we switched away from SKY+ !!!
