Yes I was wondering that Richard as well. Apparently it seems to only be affecting the Humax HDR and not their ordinary none recording unit, strange? The Grundig that I am now using wouldn't be affected if it was at Freesat's end as it doesn't do a full rescan when a new channel is added, it just adds it.

Incorrect. My (non-recording) Foxsat HD was also affected although it's now gone 2 days without a channel scan reminder. Perhaps the problem has been fixed?

Yep, mine seems to have stopped asking to retune aswell.

Just as well, as I was starting to lose the fight with Mrs C. about why we switched away from SKY+ !!!
