What a load of rubbish (and nasty thing to say about your idol), youtube had no influence on her getting through (considering she was ALREADY through before the show even aired), she's got an amazing voice, not my kind of music but mind blowing, I feel she should have won and not those P(*&^ that danced.

Absolutely can't stand the extra-special-needsy PooBo, but HOW bitter is Elaine Page???! What a ridiculous woman. It's like Van Gogh moaning that he could've been more successful if he'd had a Flikr account, or Anne Frank criticising people with friends on Facebook.

Get over yerself Elaine, love. Yep, Boyle's not as good as you, but in the modern world you DO tend to need a face of bashed spunds and a mental handicap to succeed.

Exactly, Elaine who? is bitter because SuBo is BETTER than her as proven when they both sung together on SuBo's story programme before Christmas. She is jealous because she got shown up for what she is, pathetic old hag that cannot sing anymore.

Of course YouTube had no influence on her getting through to the semi finals (as you already said, she was already through before it aired) but I do think the hype around her created by YouTube etc helped her get to be as big as she is now. Just my opinion, of course.
Still wasn't very nice of Elaine Page to say that though.
I also disagree on her having a mind-blowing voice - it's good, of course, but I've yet to have heard anything amazing from her. Again, only my opinion.
Also, "those P(*&^ that danced" are called Diversity, and they've been nothing but lovely about Susan since the show ended, so there's no need to be rude.
