Think Asda should follow suit, my local one is full of people in PJ's, I even saw a woman in them with her quilt wrapped around her.

LOL what silliness. We have customers come in all the time in their PJs in our little shop. We just laugh that them and they laugh at themselves. Where is the offence to others?
Most people wear overcoat over the top anyway, although once I did have a lady come in dressing gown, that was funny. |

So if you are wearing a 3 quarter length coat with boots and just a little bit of the jama bottom is showing that can cause offence?

We could go to the extreme, what about babies? Are they not allowed to wear nightwear then?

Personally I have no wish to see people shopping in their pyjamas. How lazy must they be that they can't even bother to dress?

Never in a million years would I dream of doing something like that. lol. I've never seen it though in any supermarkets I've been in and so it must be rare.

Some of the Americans seen wandering around Walmart. I found the whole family who had gone shopping in their Snuggies particularly funny. |

What a ridiculous rule. A) They're not offensive or revealing B) Tesco is hardly an upmarket establishment. I appreciate there are some places you just shouldn't wear sweatpants, denim or trainers but supermarkets are not the sort of place to enforce such rules.

I don't own pajamas. If I was to go shopping in my nightwear I would be in the nude.

You don't do much, watch tv, browse internet etc etc...don't get dressed and if you do need something just put on a coat and get it quickly. Just relax.

Oh, I have some days where I won't get dressed immediately, but I'd feel skanky if I hadn't showered and got dressed by some point. I suppose if I were ill and bed-ridden I'd stay in sleeping attire, but I haven't been in that position since I was a kid.
