I rewatched it too to see if you were right.

You weren't.

Even with the Endemol/C4 editing on the useless official BB3 video its clear that Alex was far and away the best hm in every sense.

I reckon even they would agree to that now.

Davina has already said that she thinks so.

Oh darling! Have you been watching it with your 3D glasses on that you got in the DVD box for Spy Kids 3D? May I suggest you take off your those green & red specs and view the DVD again without the 3D glasses on? Its quite easy to blame the editing, and this works for one or two examples but for all scenes on the DVD? i would suggest the DVD probably shows more than the video. Regardless, I am sure you are just as devoted to him as I am to other HMs

Ah PJ dear. Amazing isnt it! First time in almost 18 months now that we actually agree on something LOL mwah! xxxx

Probably time you turned in old bean. You're not making yourself terribly clear! Even with the editing, he's far and away the hm of the video/DVD - whatever format you like.

I find the DVD a little embarrassing at times-I blame the editing-but at least it features all 14 HM's quite evenly.
I would not say it is biased toward Kate or Alex or anyone else-Kate wins easily again every time though.

Actually Alex is a bit of a bully in one scene isn't he-I had not really thought about it-still Kate was a good sport and did not get too upset about it although you can tell she wasn't very happy about it if you saw the live feed afterward.(Lucky they did not show the other bits!)
Still as ever she forgave him immedietely-she has a very forgiving nature-or at least by morning-can't remember if he got any FTV that night though!

The problem with the BB3 Cd is there just isn't enough of the after 10 activity.

No they were 'fan dancers', not sleazy at all - very different to the Kate fangirls on this board, who apparently admire the 'sleazy' type

I presume this means Alex has given up the modelling and confirms what I was saying all those years ago, his modelling career was in decline before he went into BB.

Oh deja-vu!

Poetic Justice is slightly mistaken. Alex in his "intro" video shown on the first night of BB3 bemoaned the timing of the Sept 11th attacks and the following media coverage as he had just completed a shoot for a famous designer (the name escapes me at present) and his profile could have been raised significantly had the media and industrys attention not been focused on 911. It was a poorly worded, thinking aloud dialogue from Alex which could certainly be taken as insensitive of him whether he was being insensitive or not. I remember Alex using words to the effect that the lack of attention to this campaign could have cost him his big break.

So OLD FOGEY................
strictly speaking PJ post was untrue.........
though only slightly wide of the mark............
and that can be proven.........
by a tape of the 1st night of BB3..........
he needn't retract..........
.............just ammend his post..........
nice show of respect.............
..............to another fm............
liar indeed...............

I am glad you confirm Poetic Justice made an untrue statement.
It is not for you to decide whether a retraction is required.
Poetic Justice is quite capable doing the honourable thing.
As for liar ,
So far,
I am only aware of one proven liar on D.S.

I say I can decide if a retraction or correction is required. It's just my opinion. As it's my opinion that it's not very respectful to others to insert liar into their name. It's up to you whether you agree or not. Next thing you know you'll have fm's with names that parody others..........

I don't quite get what you are getting at here OTF's. If the fm you mention had parodied someones elses forum name and who's to say they did or didn't in this case, if it's the fm I believe you to be talking about, they have now changed their name anyway, so what is the point of the post about that ?

The post in reference was about liars, and if someone has lied and it can be seen to be a lie, why shouldn't it be pointed out ?

I believe OF's post about lie's, to be about a certain fm goading other fm's for proof on something, and when it was given and proved some of the other fm's were in the right and said fm who did the goading was in the wrong, they didn't even have the decency to admit it.

Does that make sense someone, anyone

" UNTRUTH " OR " LIE "? WHAT`S THE DIFFERENCE ?
We are all ( Avalon included ) capable of making mistakes.
When someone continually repeats ,and embelishes ,
that same mistaken statement ,
(after several respectable people point out its untruth ),
one may begin to doubt the untrue statement was a genuine mistake.
When irrefutable evidence is produced ,
that the statement is untrue ,
the person mistakenly in error ,
retracts and apologises.
That not having happened ,
the conclusion is that the untrue statement was made deliberately.
A deliberate untruth is a LIE.
If to call that person a liar is a lack of respect,
what of the " lack of respect ",
shown by the Liar ?

The point I was making was that imo Alex thought his career more important than the tragedy that took place on September 11.

Its been about 2 years since I last saw the video so the concern I remember Alex voicing was about missing out on a modelling assignment. Ontwofronts kindly explained that he was really whining about (thanks OTF) and although I was wrong about it being a modelling assignment, Alex was still very insensitive with the comments he made.

Interestingly(or not) Kate's life -as so many-was affected by 9/11.
But for that horror-she would have stayed in Japan for longer and not applied for BB3 .Perhaps you can argue Alex also would not have applied.I never heard him say anything about it and cannot remember where Kate spoke about it though.

Thank you for admitting you were wrong in fact.
I accept it as a genuine mistake.
Your opinion , Re : 9/11 ,
I completely disagree with ,
( but you would have expected that ).
The subject has been covered so many times ,
I can`t be bothered to do it again.

I wasn't apologising to you personally so you need not accept my apology. I wouldn't expect you to agree with me and if you can't be bothered to cover this subject again... why make a song and dance and split hairs in the first place.
