Windups aside, like you OF, I don't think it's okay to make untrue statements, especially if it places a slur on someone elses character, which in this case it didn't, the substance of the post was quite obvious for everyone to see. Use of the wrong word didn't make a difference and most people would have let it go, like we do with spelling mistakes, most of the time.
I think you picked the wrong battle OF, well, it was more of a skirmish with handbags in the end wasn't it.

I think an untrue statement ,
that Alex suffered an actual pecuniary loss ,
as a result of his " 9/11 comment "
IS a slur.
It lends false credibility to the following (and otherwise laughable )statement of opinion by Poetic Justice.
Whereas ,
it has been widely recognised ,
that Alex was referring to the whole industry
going into " hibernation " after 9/11.
( D.S. Members actually in advertising have confirmed this )
Alex was merely explaining why work had dried up temporarily, and he was prepared to do BB3.

And before you start ,
he obviously hasn`t gone back to modelling ,
because he now earns better money elsewhere.
