the tangos were better than the cha chas IMO but this is an amazing show! its really opened my eyes to wheel chair ballroom dancing, which I couldnt really get my head around until now

Mark Foster reminds me of a chimney sweep, the way he is dressed

I like the wording the judges are using "...we want to see dancing next week..."

Simone and Kevin were amazing. They were my favourites, I just loved their tango. I thought James and Caroline were really good as well.

I was wrong!

I think Caroline would have struggled from her lack of upper body strength - she is lovely!

I personally would have saved Martin and Caroline due to Heather unable to keep time! I agreed with Ola

I agree Buddy, that definitely would have limited what she could do compared to some of the others. She was great though, I was sad to see her leave, I thought that she and Martin made a lovely couple. But I guess I agreed with James J that Heather and Paul perhaps had more potential.

James lacks charisma as a judge though, he doesn't even look as though he's enjoying it. I could have done with a bit of Bruno Tonioli's enthusiasm.

I loved it .. wish they could have let all the couples stay in and only judge the winner at the end of the series though, as I enjoyed all the personalities and pairings and didn't want to see anyone leave

Charisma and enthusiasm aren't the same thing.

James was warm and lovely, and all in all quite positive. Ade was right in that he didn't know how difficult it was for those in a wheel chair, but he still was a very good judge.

And it was nice to see the Jordan's not agreeing.

I felt the quailty of the show was lacking, and it focussed more on Brian, that the dancers.

For me Brian came across quite badly, specially when he was throwing a hissy fit, and patronising Di!

I don't agree at all. I used to dislike him, but I think his critiques tonight were fair. He was very honest in his lack of knowledge regarding the skills people can gain, using a wheelchair. I agree with the decision made tonight - Carolyne was lovley and very talented, but, as Buddy said, could suffer from lack of upper body strength in the future.

Have to say also, Brian always comes across as so lovely and sweet, it was bizarre hearing him swear!

Another five weeks to go and I'm struggling not to look on the internet and find out who went on to represent Britain and how the couple did in the end!

I think the person with the most potential is James because he has amazing use of his upper body and few inhibitions (or so it seems), but he could lack the self discipline to work in a pair.

Brilliant show.

I liked this show, I put it on Sky+ just in case there was nothing else on, it's now series linked

I thought Carolyne should have been saved ahead of Heather, her upper body strength would have improved.

Just watched DOW and thought it was great! Loved Kevin and his partner, also Mark and Di. Agree though I'd like to see the other couples featured next week.

Brian is a bit intense at times, but I quite like his forthright approach - thus far anyhow. I hope he doesn't go too far in the coming weeks.

Only downside I thought was thare wasn't much atmosphere in the studio with just a smattering of friends and family for an audience. Still, that'll be different when the final couple gets to the real competition!

Very inspirational, very moving,if there ever was a program to urge you to get up and get moving then this is it.......

Loved watching Di/Mark (got to say Mark comes across so well in this, very kind and supportive) and Simone/Kevin as they seemed really connected and the wheelchair seemed incidental.

The camera work though has inherited the SCD trait of moving around too much so you can't fully appreciate the routine, they really should just have one steady central camera.

As for Brian.........such a talented guy and this series i already known will be an immense credit to him.

On a purely personal note i don't mind Brian being full on at all,he's obviously very talented, competitive, passionate etc etc but i was so surprised to hear him say the s*** work twice in about the first 20 secs and then f*** thrown in here and there for good measure, this is ultra polite Brian here ,again this is just me personally but its a bit of an assault on the ears,...... distracted me a bit from the main content of the program which was truly excellent.
