Your Favourite EastEnders Character 2010 - Round 15
Well, here we are. It's the final round, and the very last chance for just one character to advance to the finals. But first, it's results time.
ROUND FOURTEEN RESULTS 1st: Masood Ahmed 15.4% 2nd: Denise Johnson 10.1% 2nd: Tanya Branning 10.1% 4th: Jane Beale 9.6% 5th: Dot Branning 9.2% 5th: Peggy Mitchell 9.2% 5th: Whitney Dean 9.2% 8th: Ian Beale 7.9% 9th: Roxy Mitchell 7.5% 10th: Patrick Trueman 7.0% 11th: Lauren Branning 3.1% 12th: Charlie Slater 1.8% It's official - the Masoods rule 2010. With Masood's induction, all four members have now reached the final 15. It's the very first time an entire family have made the finals, quite an achievement. Well done Mr Santer for introducing possibly the most popular Asian family of all time. Meanwhile, Masood's good friend Jane slips from the second position she's held since her introduction into fourth as Denise and Tanya take over. Ian makes a less than impressive start, it's a shame he wasn't given more time to get through. The order in which they join is done completely at random, and it's a shame that this format has such a fundamental flaw that if you stay in long enough you have more chance (Shirley and Tamwar prove this). At the bottom, long-serving patriarchs Charlie and Patrick both bow out, alongside Lauren Branning. Patrick's performance this year was fantastic compared to his previous, delighted with that. Right, so now for the final round before we find out the full line-up of finalists, and this year I'm going to make a change. In previous years, when I've had to make up the numbers when we've run out of characters, I've re-added those who went the furthest in the competition. This year though, with just four spaces for second chances, I've decided to reintroduce the four first-round eliminees who had the highest scores in their respective rounds. I think it's better to give second chances to those who never had much in the first place. Those four are: Jack, Mo, Jim and Dr Al. ROUND FIFTEEN Dr Al Jenkins Denise Johnson Dot Branning Ian Beale Jack Branning Jane Beale Jim Branning Mo Harris Peggy Mitchell Roxy Mitchell Tanya Branning Whitney Dean Please vote for your FOUR favourites from those listed. Voting will close on Sunday 31 January 2010. |
