Had to share this, one of those 'off the cuff' moments of us humans.

This actually happened right now, and was not scripted.

I was getting the bedding washing out of the machine, and my two cats, as usual were 'helping' and getting in the way.

I started singing 'The cats were helping 2 by 2, there's one more river to cross' and as I went to the radiator I started singing 'I'm drying the pillow cases 2 by 2, there's one more duvet to cross' and they buggered off.

I said to my mate, " OOhh I expect they don't like my singing, they have gone outside now, and are probably writing to catline about me'. Joking, of course.

My friend looked up, I was expecting a derogatory comment, he said " I doubt it", rolling his eyes.

I said 'Why?'

He said 'Because I saw you steal their pens'

I suppose you had to be there.
