In the mid 80s an all female group released a single where the opening lyric was as follows

Up two three four down two three four (sung as giving instructions at a gym and repeated)
Mister Physical is an awful mess, he does try hard when he should try less.
His suntanned body is straight and long

I think they were from Birmingham and it was played a lot on John Peel.
