Yeah, I expect it to drop to about #37 or this week (if they're lucky) and then something like #63 then #98 then out. It's a shame because it's a FANTASTIC song! But they're just not connecting with the public that much.

Is their single in the top 40? You dont hear much about them anywhere and I haven't seen Echo on the few music channels I have now.

I sense the same as it was on Radio 1's A playlist last week. This week it has completely disappeared from their list.

I think part of the problem was that the name wasn't very catchy (excuse the pun!) and the group didn't seem to have like an identity.

They won't be dropped. The label itself only have Girls Aloud and to a lesser extent The Saturdays. They've kept Sophie Ellis Bextor on despite her floppings of late, so GCC will at least get their album.

I hope they are dropped. None of them can sing at all. Perhaps they'll join Mini Viva on the scrapheap as well.

Well, at least their second single did better than Mini Viva's!

I prefer GCC to the Saturdays, but think that their management company have really failed them. You hardly see them on any TV shows - except Alan Titchmarsh which is mostly watched by grandparents!

That Mini Viva song was one of the worst I ever heard in 2009! Tenth rate "The Loving Kind" copy.

I don't see them getting dropped just yet.

Fascination only have two acts that actually sell music: Girls Aloud and Cheryl Cole

And even Girls Aloud haven't done anything for over a year now. The Saturday's album has pretty much flopped too.

If Cheryl Cole wasn't with them I'd wonder how the heck they were making any money at all this year if you look at their other artists: Jonas brothers, Miley Cyrus, Bananarama, Demi Lovato, Sophie-Ellis Bextor. None of them has any real chart success in recently (ok, Miley has had a few top 20 hits but thats about it).

For whatever reason Fascination seem to love pumping money into these acts who don't look to be doing too well. The problem however isn't the material, if Girls Aloud released Echo it would do well, it's their image and marketing that's letting them down.

Not sure if you knew or not by I Wish was written by Xenomania, the same people who right of all Girls Aloud's stuff including The Loving Kind, why they both sound the same.

I've only just realised who they are, a girl group is always on the screen in the Orient every time I go Trafford Centre, and didn't know who they where. After seeing this thread, and listening to Echo, I've realised its Girls Can't Catch. The songs ok, but its very repetitive.

I doubt they're pumping too much money into people like Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers, their US label probably does most of that- the reason they aren't as much of a phenomenon over here as they are in the US is probably because the management doesn't do much with them over here. Not that I'm complaining!
Girls Can't Catch are a bit of a snorefest, but both the songs are okay, I think if they were to be dropped it would be after the 'playing croquet on a rubbish dump' video.

Didn't the Jonas Brothers go 8x Platinum in the UK? And Miley's bigger then the Jonas Brothers so that's where they get their money from along with Girls Aloud and Cheryl Cole.

8x Platinum?!? That's over 2.4m sales! Their latest album only sold around 600k in the US!

They got no where near that, gold it he only certification their albums hold - http://www.bpi.co.uk/certifiedawards/search.aspx

Their highest single is a #13 and they've only had two other Top 40 hits at #30.

Miley has had similar 'average' success, a couple of top 20 hits, I don't think her latest album has hit 100k of sales yet.
