Sam And Minty.. A Possibility?
Sam Mitchell may now be ruler of the Mitchell empire, but her basic judgement, especially in men is disastrous. Her track record includes, to name a few: Ricky, (who used her as a substitute when moping over Natalie), Trevor.. (enough said), both Dennis Senior and Junior (who later went onto frame her brother) and now most recently Andy Hunter (who's bribing his ex-fiance into bed for 10 grand).
From past episodes it's clear that Minty, handy-goon and vandal supreme has a soft spot for the youngest Mitchell, and has enough sense to detect Andy's disloyal, untrustworthy nature. For once is it possible that Sam might actually get it right and find her mr. right in what's definitely the unlikeliest of places? |

Well that made me laugh!
They'd make a right strange couple. She could do worse (in fact, as you've pointed out she already has, many times )

Lol, thanx. : )
They would be an unusual couple alright, heh, and I'm sure Phil would see it that way too when he returns.. His best dodgy mate and his sister. |

Trevor was little Mo's ex-husband who used to beat her up and raped her. He died in a house fire, but luckily little Mo escaped thanks to Sharon's then-boyfriend the wonderful fireman Tom. Altogether Trevor was one nasty piece of work.

sam and minty
not exactly kate and leo
i have often wondered about the mitchell dynasty--Phil and Grant for whom I have no problem with excellent actors and well developed characters and story lines--would you as the gangster Phil Mitchell who owns what must be in the region of 1million quids worth of london property and business--leave it in the hands of sam(ex lapdancer, stripper, barmaid, nail manacurist)mitchell or Minty the ex rent collector who gets out of breath getting out of bed and looks about as hard as jelly Not really the wisest of choices me thinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

second in command
would have been better for grant to have sent somebody from south america to take care of the family business in both of their absence and as the character was given time to get involved it would be time for phil to come back and the new character could have stayed there creating an almost sopranos situation which is where the mitchell should really be at by now
Ray Winstone as their new head....soap fantasy |

Yeah, that sounds ideal. This new character would have to be quick returning however, as Sam wasted little time in burning out the snooker hall. Although for her that whole ploy was quite a bit of thinking. Apart from all the obvious snags, such as sending Billy to carry out such a job. Actually as far as the Sam/Minty possibility is concerned that dinner was a nice little example of how lost Sam would be without Minty's support.

Yeah, I did like his accent. But as far as being a bad guy goes that was a bit of an understatement, Trevor was just evil! The episode where Little Mo used the iron on him was brilliant. I think she got an award for that scene too.

Yeah, the iron scene was brilliant. It was a pity that he died though because he was a better character than some of the others e.g. the farrarias (or however you spell their name)

Yeah, but I guess for Billy and Little Mo to move on they had to get rid of Trevor once and for all properly. Lol, any characters are better than the ferreiras!

I didn't think Andy was the marrying type really. That'll be an interesting wedding though.
When it comes to the whole "If anyone knows why this couple should not be wed.. speak now forever hold you piece" bit some od Andy's heavies will probably stand up and take a good look around at all the guests and everyone will hold their breath until the ceremony continues.. I just read that Minty acts on his feelings for Sam on the 26th of April in the spoiler section. Unfortunately that just makes her uncomfortable with him around. Ah well.. |

Minty has got to be the cuddliest thug ever...he looks as scary as a teddy bear. Even the name doesn't inspire fear does it? He's probably called after on of those soft chewy mints. Sam would eat him alive!

At least if he and Sam marry each other, they'll spare anyone else having to suffer them. |

Well yeah, I meant thanks to the whole Alfie intervention ordeal.
That's true, but I'd rather if Andy just left and Minty married Sam.. |
