Apparently Emily and Danny are the youngest on the show -I thought Kieron was younger than Danny... I still feel Emily is getting through thanks to Fred...

... and Danny's Mum is only 2 years older than Frankie????? I can't believe Danny is putting more into his skating with Frankie than Chris did - although Chris was doing HO, and Danny has been "resting" for about 5 years...

According to wikipedia (not the most reliable of sources i know), kieron was born on the 12 January 1986, while Danny was born on the November 7 1986.

I am also shocked that Frankie is only 2 years younger than Danny's mum !! Danny must have a very young mum, but also Frankie seems so young to me...probably because she is athletic and tiny. In fact according to wikipedia dobs, Danny's mum must have been 15 when she had him

Thought the show was a bit better this week. There were still a few moments where Coleen did her 'it's all about me' line.

Was nice to hear properly from Jayne & Chris. Can't wait for their routine. At least Frankie & Fred got to speak a bit too.

Some meaningful clips/previews of some of the routines as well. Still needs to be for an hour & minus the Nolan though.

I have to say the show would be better IMO if they stole the format shamelessly from SCD ITT i.e.have just one presenter, use the judges and eliminated pros more to discuss and analyse training footage, and get some decent guests!

Thank the Lord for the ff button - even if it did mean I watched little of the show.

Dire presenting from Colleen is unlikely to increase viewing numbers, though we're clearly stuck with her for the rest of this series.

That's the only way they're going to make this show worth watching, as its current incarnation is dire! Get rid of both Ben and Coleen, get someone in with a bit more personality (wouldn't be difficult, would it?), get Nicky or Karen to teach them - or at least show them - the occasional required element, in a Len's masterclass- stylee, and have a panel to discuss the costumes!

Not a bad programme would be much better without colleen though, she just gets right on my wick.

I have to say, I hadn't watched the show before, but I enjoyed it far more than I expected to. Nowt wrong with Ben Shephard and while Coleen isn't brilliant, she's hardly Kelly Brook/Kelly Osbourne level.

Loved having the bigger chunks of T&D so they could show they had proper personalities and not just stock phrases.
Loved the Phil and Holly bit, where Holly again showed there's more to her than her front.

Loved the Frankie/Danny montages, but thought Emily and Fred were a bit short-changed really. It might be better to have one couple per week and then find another feature to fill up a few minutes. Why not something else on the backstage workings - the guys who sort out the ice, or the make-up girls, or the cameramen/lighting guys, or something like that?
