Does anyone know how to get av2hdr working on 32-bit windows 7? I've seen some fixes for 64-bit, but not for the 32-bit version. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried it in compatibility mode?
I didn't know about this function & have just tried it out. No, it's still the same problem with AV2HDR, but it solved another program install problem I had, so thanks!

What happens when you try to install/run it?
Is it a dll problem?

A window pops open immediately saying "av2hdr has stopped working", with a note underneath that "Windows is looking for a solution." Then the window closes and nothing else happens. This isn't the exact wording because I'm using a French language PC.
It's a known issue, it will not work with windows 7 64bit.
Don't waste your time trying to find a work around because there is not one, unless you class installing it on a 32bit os a work around.

The OP is trying to get it working on a 32bit Win7 install.
Yea i was commenting on the 64bit remark about the fixes, sorry did not make myself clear.
As for getting it to work on a 32bit it does work, i have it installed on three machines running 32bit windows 7 with no problems so it must be a local issue with his computer.

Are you logged on the internet when it says 'Windows is looking for a solution'?
Just ruling that out, btw.
I know that other programs I've used often say that and then don't come up with a solution. I think Microsoft should at least add a 'No solution found' message rather than just shutting down.
Otherwise it sounds like another program install or driver is causing problems.

Oops! - just noticed that this little net-top PC I'm using (Acer Revo) is actually loaded with the 64-bit version of W7
. Sorry to have misled you. I've just tried the grahamlthompson fix posted on http://www.hummy.org.uk/forums/showp...7&postcount=55 and it works.On the subject of the Microsoft messages, I don't really care if they say "no solution found" or not - I can't ever remember one case of getting any Microsoft help window to say anything other than "unknown error", so the silence is quite refreshing.
