Cheers for the recommendation, there's some good songs there, the album started to drag a little towards the end but some of the early songs are excellent! There's a lot of good bands coming out of Australia lately. I recommend the Temper Trap album if you haven't heard it, similar style to this but a bit livelier.

Just checked out The Temper Trap I had seen their video for their Sweet Disposition song on some minor TV chart show?.Didn't really remember their name though - the song went to number 6 (I'm surprised), haven't heard about them in the music media.Don't listen to the radio at all.I thought that song was quite good. The singer is has an excellent high pitch vocal hasn't he.Think they are a little too smooth, there are faults with the Blackchords as well but I wish there was more pop around like this.
I would definately like to hear these more than Coldplay or Snow Patrol anyway. Not impressed with British Indie pop/rock bands at all generally.Radiohead latest was O.K. but not as good as previous stuff (become a parody of themselves) |
