Looking at these at the moment, more out of curiosity than anything else. Wondering if anyone has one, if they're of any real use and if so, what do you mainly use them for? Or are they just a fad/vanity item?
Thx

I have had a play with the Archos 5 and 7 in Heathrow and both (particularly the 7) were chunky and heavy. More than is really necessary I would say.
Interesting they have a 9" tablet though running Win 7
I have owned Archos products in the past and new products from them have more bugs than a new Nokia!!

Archos are too expensive cheaper to buy a netbook, also have to pay extra to use some video codecs and unlock the browser.

These aren't Archos products with Archos software though - they're Google Android devices, so possibly a lot more reliable.

Interesting that both these Archos devices came out well before the iPad. Nokia were doing the 770 some 5 years ago - yet all these years later, Apple bring out something thats basically the same thing, but not anywhere near as flexible, yet its touted as the most important computing device in history.
