*sigh* there is no chance of jason being sacked as he does exactly what he is paid to do and some people clearly swallow it hook line and sinker. They want you to be annoyed with him, it's the whole point. If your annoyed with him ITV will be pleased about it.

I thought Jason's comment tonight was awful.
I didn't actually hear it; the booing completely irritated me and I felt the only way to deal with it was to turn the sound off and put the subtitles on.

But way below the belt - no pun intended.

I think we all realise he is doing what he is asked to.
all we are saying is that in this particular instance he went too far in our opinion

Crass, unprofessional and totally out of order. This is a family show, screened before the watershed, not a Chubby Brown gig. I have lost any respect I ever had for Jason Gardiner, I used to find him entertaining, funny even. Distasteful personal remarks like that have no place in light entertainment.

I don't want to see him sacked but tonight he went too far, and it had nothing to do with her dancing.

I know a few people think others are getting their knickers in a twist but I sure wouldn't like to be likened to a floating turd.

Have to agree...I don't take this programme serously but you have to have some boundaries....its family entertainment.

Its good to have a contoversial judge in the mix who
will tell it like it is when the others are being polite or over polite in the name of constructive criticism but when it starts
to go too far down the road of personal abuse and offensive comments you have to say NO!! GARDNER!! More than enough..in fact..just TOO MUCH!

Maybe the costume department should give them more flattering costumes, both Sharon and Heathers didnt flatter them at all. Sharon has disappointed me i thought she would have been MUCH better than she is, not MUCH better than Dr H!!!
What have the costumes got to do with rude comments?!

I actually thought both ladies looked fabulous in what they were wearing - 2 of the best outfits of the night.

You love someone who publicly describes a truly dedicated sportswoman as a "Piece of faecal matter that just wont flush away"?

No wonder this country produces the awful children that it does with people like that as examples!!
Didnt know Jason had kids!!!!!

Sharons skating was uncomfertable to watch, as an athelete you would have thought she would have more confidence and awareness of her body!!!! Jason was commenting on the costume, it was hellish, it did nothing for her, although she has an amazing body a skirt would have been more flattering and would have added a softness that her well toned gorgeous body is lacking, not complaining wish i had her body but it watching "Blades of Glory"!!!!
He had no right to comment on the costume like that. First of all, that's the costume department's fault. The pros and celebs have said on twitter that they get no say in the costumes. Secondly, what did the costume have to do with her skating and her performance? Thirdly, while he may have been right that the costume was unflattering, there are other ways in which he could have expressed it. I usually defend Jason but tonight he really went way too far.

memmh, he was commenting on the performance as a whole, music, costume and presentation, if you feel his comments were offensive then fair enough thats your prerogative, i wasnt offended i think he is a cheeky git but whats new !!!!! but really is anyone going to lose sleep over this

And i do think the celebs should have a say in their costumes, both Sharon and Heathers costumes did nothing for them, Jason has commented on Sharons presentation before as have other judges, ie her amazingly toned body can appear harsh, therefore you would think the costume department would be aware and dress her with that thought in mind, much like the costume on SCD some of their styling was atrocious and the celebs pay the price!!!

Jason is the panto villain of the panel but sometimes hes goes OTT. He certainly did with Sharron tonight. Thought that was his worse comment since he called Kelly Holmes a man in drag in series 1.

Also, Sharron has improved & had been in 2 previous skate offs & she was definitely a little low on confidence. So why not as Nicky & Karen did praise her for her improvement & give constructive comments.

Threw her a vote tonight, along with Mikey & Mel. I was planning on doing it anyway but Jason's comment sealed it

I don't think anyone is going to lose sleep over it, nor do I take the show seriously. It's supposed to be fun and light hearted, but comments like that are not appropriate for the type of show or the timing. He should be made to apologise at the very least.

Apologise fair enough, petitions for him to be sacked are a bit much though.

I can't remember when I ever sent an email of complaint about the content of a show but I have now.

I hope ITV get inundated with complaints and that he is sent packing.

He is just trying to be noticed and hopes that by getting the "Mr. Nasty" label he will somehow get the same recognition as Simon Cowell. It's the theory that if you are too mediocre to be recognised then be a total ****head and make a name for yourself that way. Unfortunately for him he is totally uncharismatic. Well it aint big and it aint clever!! Get 'im off.
