but there was no need to say that - why not just say something about the costume being unflattering or tell her to have a word with the costume department - even though he used the word faecal he was basically saying she looked like shit - try saying to a friend dress in brown that they look like faeces and see how they react

He's just naturally very slim. I wish Jason would leave him alone.”

In the case of Kieron, he's not delusional. He knows he's skinny. But Jason just goes on and on (and on!) about it, and he has the nerve to liken Danny and Frankie 'dog with the bone'!

Argh. The irony.

Unfortunatly Jason will be going nowhere anytime soon as he is quite clearly a darling of ITV for some strange reason. They keep giving him gigs that he is not qualified for. Dancing On Ice when he cant skate, and then he becomes the resident stylist on This Morning despite knowing bugger all about fashion, this is evident from some of his makeovers which have been bloody awful. You only have to look at Jason's awful outfits on DOI as well, this man thinks tying a hankie around your neck is on trend

They axed John Scott, who'd been the stylist for years and clearly knew fashion inside out to make way for Jason.

Whatever way you look at it, implying that someone looks like a piece of shit is offensive. His comments about Kieron's physique were also below the belt. He cant help his body shape.

What makes me laugh much more than Jason ever will is when someone posts along the lines of "But Jason was right!!! Sharron and Pavell were wearing brown, and brown is the colour of ****!!!!"

LOL - oh the irony: demanding someone be sacked for saying something you don't like and doing it by calling them a childish pr!ck!

He goes out of his way to insult her in particular, doesn't he?! I think he is intimidated by a strong, confident, successful, Amazonian woman! On the aesthetics side, I do wish she's where a skirt/dress rather than these leotards as it's not pleasant to view week on week, I do think she's a reasonable skater and improving. He is a ridiculous little man (emphasis on the little and I use the term 'man' loosely) who has made his name by dishing insults. Big deal.

So do I - but then I don't want anyone to get sacked for any ridiculous over-reactions.

He certainly does seem to have an issue with ladies who have a strong athletic build, he was extremely rude, in a personal way, to Kelly Holmes when she was on the show.
Maybe the problems stem from his childhood and could account for the way he is, but who gives a toss, he's a nonentity whose only claim to fame seems to be how low he can go with his insults. Do we really need to import types like him to be on our TV in the first place anyway.

I agree. I think Jason is slightly mysoginistic, he obviousley has an idea about what he thinks a woman should look like. But there are very few women of Sharon's age who could wear costumes like that and get away with it. She has a better body than many women half her age, and she's had several children as well. Not fair

I actually don't think JG has any problem with Sharon Davies body / shape: it is what she does with it I think he believes is pretty unattractive.

I was really shocked when he said that. Even by Jason's standards. Pathetic.

Exactly. Those with knotted knickers over his comments should make sure they're outraged for correct reasons. He wasn't commenting on her styling or body.

Must admit, I would have been telling her to get a backbone and cut out the whining if it had been me.

The over-reaction to his stupid comment is a farce - talk about a storm in a toilet bowl!

I think Sharron was maintaining a dignified silence, which frankly was more than that comment deserved. Good on her for keeping the moral high ground. Even his pathetic attempt at an apology shows how little class Jason has in comparison.

I suppose in an era where entertainment is seen as belittling and making fun of people who are doing their best to learn and perform a new skill, it is much to be expected. I personally don't like it but it doesn't surprise me that many people find it great watching.

He should do the next show with his whole head painted luminous pink as a sign of contrition! Let's see him take the micky then

Not a sackable offence though - IMHO

Hello Jason? I don't think it was meant to be funny though, just nasty.

Yeah, storm in a toilet bowl that goes round and round and won't go away, staying here probably till the end of the show (or till he say something even more offensive and outrageous) haunting him.
