Great to see Robin Cousins on This Morning for a change, instead of Jason (yawn!).

Really like Robin. He's the judge I respect most, definitely.

I wonder if there is a reason for Robin being on instead of Jason.....Is that the sound of someone being hauled over the coals I can hear?

I thought he was a bit disappointing, they asked him about the controversy with Sharon, and all he talked about was how Jason was looking at different things to the rest of them. So is he quite happy with what Jason said? Whatever you might think about Len on SCD at least he tells the others off if he thinks they've gone over the top with their comments.

I agree. He could have said that he didn't agree with the "tone" of the remark or something to that effect. I understand that he doesn't want to get involved, but he is the head judge. Karen would have been more supportive.

When i phoned to complain this morning to itv i said the same thing. Len would have hauled Craig over hot coals for that disgusting type of comment. Someone needs to show a bit of backbone.

He really sat on the fence about Jasons comments

very dissapointed in him

I respected Tanas comments more, at least she had the guts to say that the personel comments were not needed

I don't really understand why he gave Emily a 3 (the others gave 2 or 1.5) and Mikey a 3.5 (the others mainly gave 4.5) Just half a point different, explain that?

Perhaps he had been told not to talk about Jason's comment, hopefully there might be some action by ITV on it.

In that case, what was the point of prompting him to comment by saying "let's get the controversy out of the way first"?

I wouldn't read too much into Jason not being there this week, he wasn't there last week either (Chris Fountain was instead - and did a great job).

It was disappointing that Robin side-stepped the issue though. It was more interesting to see Craig Revel-Horwood talking about it on The Wright Stuff this morning, he said he thought Jason was out of line and that he used to make personal comments himself but has learnt not to these days and makes sure he focuses on the dancing itself (no idea how truthful he's being though since I don't watch SCD!).

I am sure that if Craig Revel Horwood made comments on SCD like those of Jason's, Bruce Forsyth would have rounded on him and put a stop to it, everyone from the Production team down on DOI must be spineless to put up with it!

Yes i agree as i have already commented and said to itv this morning when i complained. On strictly someone Bruce or Len would have hauled Craig over hot coals for a remark like that.

I watched SCD for the first time this year, and Craig seems fairly measured in his comments to the contestants, with barely a hint of any Jason type nastiness, and he seems to give very constructive advice about the dancing itself. Not seen him in action when he was previously apparently nasty.

I thought Karen was remarkably restrained last night after Jason's comments! Either she didn't hear it, she couldn't believe her ears, or she just decided to treat the remark with the contempt it deserved by totally ignoring it!

Perhaps Robin was told to downplay it as much as possible?

tbh I wonder if she would have said it, had she still been in the competition.

I hope that they continue to have other guests than Jason on Monday talking about DOI.
