I wouldnt even take his advice on fashion, for a 'style guru' he IMO has no style at all

In all honesty would you want to be styled by a man (and I use that word lightly) that calls a woman a piece of poo

Lets face it the only way he can be talked about is by being nasty and bitchy towards people who are trying their best to entertain us outside of their proffessions and their comfort zones

He needs to realise what he thinks are constructive and funny comments are just infantile insults

Craig on Strictly and Cowell on X-Factor get away with their harsh critiques because they have a bit of charm about them and you can tell that they are big softies underneath.

Jason just comes across as snide. I find him cold and utterly charmless.

And he really seems to have it in for Sharon She was clearly having a confidence crisis this week so the last thing she needed was to be compared to feacal matter that won't flush. What a foul and undignified thing to say to someone.

Olympic champion Davies is worth a thousand Gardiners.

Horrible, bitchy man.

I wouldn't kill to look like either of themJason isn't exactly an oil - painting and I definitely don't like his vulgar way of explaining himself, he is coming across as a complete prat with little or no manners.Sharon is doing her best at the skating , she is too lanky/gangly to ever look graceful, and the costumes she wears doesn't do a lot for her.

Absolutely disgraceful comment, Jason Gardiner should be removed from the programme. I don't know how Sharron must feel about his uncalled for comment, but I hope she will know that a lot of people are upset about what this sad excuse for a judge said.

With a little bit of refinement, I think Sharon can make her long limbs work to her advantage.

She has the potential to create some exquisite lines.

I hope you are right Sid, as she comes across as a very nice person, she just seems to be all legs and arms atm.

I've never been too bothered by his comments. They are clearly sanctioned by the powers that be, otherwise he wouldn't still be there. People generally brush off his ott comments.

They are always apologising for him or he's supposedly being told off. But they still keep him around. He's the Mr Nasty and I would put money on it that he is told to be as outrageous as possible.

It would mean more if Jason apologised himself - why should anyone else do so on his behalf? Criticising Jason here, not you btw!

I wonder if Jason has some degree of an inferiority complex with Olympic gold medalists! Both Sharron and Kelly H have achieved great things in their chosen careers, maybe that rankles with Jason for some reason.

Some people thrive on bringing other people down rather than pulling themselves up and rising to their level and I wouldn't be surprised if Jason is one of those types.

What is the bold section supposed to mean - so what if he is gay, so what if he wants people to know about it, so what if he is over the top???

You should keep your prejudices to yourself.

Or maybe he just was using colourful imagery to describe what many of us could see - Sharon Davies was hopeless and her brown outfit did her no favours.

for one night only
and let the professional skaters mark them and comment on their performances. Can Jason actually skate ??

It was an unnecessarily offensive comment made to a person who has had a blow to their confidence and didn't need to have her appearance likened to a human floater.

If he had said that he didn't like her performance or her costume, fair enough, but the imagery he used was somewhat OTT IMO.

Some of Jason's worst comments to the celeb skaters are made in relation to things they have little control over, e.g. Kelly Holmes' and Keiron's physiques and Sharon's costume. That to me is bringing someone down for the sake of it, rather than making constructive suggestions to help them improve their performances.

I didn't particularly rate Emily's performance and she was wearing red - if, I told her in front of the viewing nation that she looked like a backstreet abortion when she slipped, would many people find that colourful imagery an acceptable comment to make?

Frankly, Sharon Davies is being a bit pathetic - she was a sports women, aged 47 with 3 marriages behind her, I would have expected her to have a bit more resilliance and maturity.

Frankly, without her previous "upset" with Jason I suspect she would already be gone as she had come over as a grumpy mare in the earlier shows.

What a very silly post: so basically you disagree, but are only able to do so by posting childish emoticons.

And for the record I am neither friend nor foe re Jason - I am merely bored of faked outrage.

I don't disagree that she hasn't come across as enjoying the experience in the earlier shows, but if someone in my workplace told me in front of all my other colleagues that I resembled a human floater, I would consider it deeply offensive. Wouldn't you if it happened to you?

Jason could have made his point differently but instead chose to make a personal insult to a contestant and I think he crossed the line with the insult he chose.

Frankly I would consider it a pretty childish remark and treat it as such. I think the utter lack of perspective here is way more worrying than some nonsense from Jason Gardener.

You're being very frank today! I won't let the incident take over my life, nor do I have Ofcom on speed dial, just happy to discuss it on this forum.

WELL EXCUSE ME!

So you like the clearly staged arguments of Craig Rabble-Horrid & Lennie "I'm the head judge " Goodman on SCD

Its bad enough to endure the "pantomiume" element so beloved by the producers, you have to draw the line somewhere

Or doesnt that fit into your "ideas"?

No need to ask me to excuse you - I am sure my opinion is of very little interest to you.

However, re SCD: don't watch it, so sorry, not really got an opinion.

Re the "pantomime" element of DoI - well we are talking about celebrities learning to dance on ice, in front of a cheering / baying crowd, to be judged and voted for..........it's pretty pantomime already surely (oh yes it is!).

I would rather have a panel with someone like Jason Gardener on it than one without. He makes ridiculous and silly remarks but he is normally pretty accurate with his actual critisism, and I would rather have that anyday over the anodyne remarks of Karen Barber

He should simply not be asked for his opinions on any contestant he has shown animosity to on the live show.

Never mind if he has given Danny, Sharron or Kieron a ridiculously low mark - we all know its because he simply doesn't rate them and he WANTS Holly to ask him for his comments...... don't pander to him and don't give him the chance to spit his bile.

I would far rather hear what Robin has to say every time - and then one from any of the other judges apart from Jason
