Phillip moments
KiyokaMakibi

My goodness I nearly wet myself with laughter last night. Phillip on that space hopper XD

Does anyone have a video of that? (maybe a gif animation of that looping?)

Oh and if anyone also has the part last year where Phillip whacked the judges with a mallet I'd apprehicate it!

^Those are my favourite moments of good ol' Phillip. What's yours?

He's too loud. Always shouting when presenting. Not nice. He did the same in Mr and Mrs, while his co-presenter Fern speaks at a normal volume. I guess I find his high-pitch voice quite off-putting. He has a nice personality, though.

What about when he invited Holly to get her spacehoppers out? Quite a surprise from such a (usually) squeaky clean presenter.

I agree.

I really like Phillip but lack of said backbone puts me off him sometimes. Holly's got bigger gonads and she's 'just a gurl'

He's come out and defended Jason on Twitter, so presumably his version of backbone is keeping quiet and letting the people who are paid to shout and scream on the show do their stuff.

I also think that if it had come to a shouting match between Sharron and Jason, he'd have stepped in on Sharron's side. Happily she had more class than to dignify such rubbish with a response.

I may be biased due to my 20-year crush on Phil, since his Broom Cupboard days, but I genuinely think he's a fantastic presenter and one of the best at live TV in the business, particularly given ITV's usual level of dross when it comes to presenters.

I too had a crush on Phil in his broom cupboard days - so much so that I wrote and asked for a signed photo which took pride of place next to my bed!

He's too shouty now.

He does seem to have moments of sheer madness doesn't he! I don't know what he'd been on on Sunday's show, he certainly seemed in good spirits

He is very shouty though, particularly when he gets excited: - "Ladies and Gentleman, it's Jayne Torvill & Christopher DEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNN!"

(Sorry )

He twittered Neil Midgley of the Telegraph after he said that Jason should be fired

"I hate these days that everyone yells ‘fire them’ at the first opportunity. Too predictable I’m afraid. Sorry mate"

so he obviously thinks what Jason said wasn't too bad.

He & Holly were both clearly amused by it all on Monday's This Morning.
I was so surprised - I really thought they'd be sympathetic.
I'm sure Sharron Davies doesn't share their warped sense of humour on the subject.

Yeah, they don't look very helpful at all. Holly was simply useful mumbling to herself 'that's not nice' or something, and not really saying anything back to Jason to check him. Utterly useless.

And Philip. Don't get me started on him. So many times he just egg the audience on, or saying something else like 'oh, that's harsh' when comments from the judges were vaguely negative, just to get a reaction from the celeb. He probably doesn't know how much it takes for a complete novice to do what they did on ice.

Amused? Well, they still got paid, it was Jason on the hot soup, not them, so why should they care?
