Fellow men, would you get (or have you had) your moobs done?
According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS - ha ha
) there was an 80% increase over the last year in men getting breast reduction operations. This is being partly blamed on pressure from men's magazines to look good apparently. Are you a bloke with big moobs? Do you feel pressure from magazines to look like a Calvin Klein model rather than a Wonderbra model? If so, would you consider surgery to get rid of your puppies? According to Consultant plastic surgeon Rajiv Grover in many cases surgery could be avoided by simple changes to lifestyle. "Quite a few cases are caused by obesity, and we often say to men to look at their lifestyles before thinking about the scalpel." I have two thoughts on this personally. 1 -It is easy to not feel pressure from glossy magazines - don't read them. 2 -I think going under the knife if you're one of the people Rajiv Grover is talking about is crazy. All surgery carries some risk so it seems mad, to me, to take that risk rather than make a 'simple change to lifestyle'. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/8487526.stm |

A person could try losing weight, I don't think surgery is needed in most cases IMO.

When my husband had his breasts removed back in the mid 80's it was extremely difficult to find a surgeon who had any experience it must be much better now if more men are having this operation which can only be for the good if they have Klinefelter Syndrome as he has.

What's that?
EDIT: Just googled it. Yes, it is good news for sufferers of that but I don't think that's what they're talking about in the article. |

Well i would not date a man that had his moobs removed by surgery (unless it was for medical reasons),It just shows that besides being vain he was also lazy. So if the point was getting more girls with his new body it would not work with me, give me the moobs anyday.
