Why can't they sack Jason and Emma and just put Jane and Chris in their place?

Good idea Saturn but I don't think it'll work as Jayne and Chris make the routines (I think) - they would be open to be criticised for saying something like "I made this and it's brilliant!"

Emma can go but not Jason, he's hilarious

I am trying very hard to understand and failing quite miserably at the moment, as to why Emma is particularly bitchy and why she is on the panel - we already have Jason for the performing/bithcy comments - do we need another..this may be contraversial, however I have to get my thoughts out!!

Then sack Jason and Emma and have 3 Judges who know about Ice skating and give constructive not destructive critisicm!

I wouldn't mind them bringing Kyran Bracken back as a judge. Maybe Bonnie Langford as well (though her commitment to Emmerdale may prevent her now). Though they're ex contestants, Kyran has now really embraced the world of ice sakting while Bonnie has a history in dance, and again can skate. Much better than who we have there at the moment.

I don't think they should use previous contestants. Alesha Dixon on SCD proved what a bad idea that was, although Bonnie Langford, with her wealth of experience and expertise as a dancer, would probably be accepted by most viewers. I'm not sure that Kyran would be accepted and Suzanne Shaw probably won't have time now because of her commitments on Emmerdale.

Alternatively, Anita Harris, who's an actress, singer, very good dancer and accomplished skater would be good. She has the skating knowledge plus she has the performance background that the producers seem to want. The problem with her is that she hasn't done much TV work in quite a while, so a lot of viewers wouldn't know who she is.

I also think that now that she's left SCD and is working on GMTV, thus making her an ITV person, perhaps Camilla Dallerup would be good. As a former pro dancer on SCD, she also has a wealth of experience and expertise as a dancer and she knows what it's like to train with novices for a show like this.

Personally, I think they should keep the five judges but they should make a point of rotating more between who's asked to speak instead of focusing primarily on Jason. People are getting fed up with him because he's being asked to comment so much out of proportion to everyone else. (Less is more, ITV, less is more! It is possible to have too much of a good thing.) Otherwise, if they cut it down to three judges, I'd like it to be Jason, Karen and Robin. I know Jason went too far on Sunday but he's not usually that bad and I rather think he's probably learned his lesson due to the fallout. Karen and Jason balance each other perfectly, with Karen being the nice judge and Jason being the nasty one. And Robin is the voice of reason in between. Nicky's too erratic for me.

Anita Harris is well qualified to be a judge but I fear that she isn't considered a big enough name to get the job. ITV treating the audience like idiots & thinking we're all celeb obsessed.

I think Anita Harris would be an extremely good judge - she certainly knows her stuff. I would rather listen to some-one like her who actually knows what she is talking about and has the CV to prove it.

Not everyone is into the celeb culture and just because someone has a famous name - doesn't make them right for the job. When will the media realise most of us are sick to death of airheads and ex pop singers who want to revive their flagging careers being forced on us as "judges" when they know very little, if anything, about not very much.

I would like Jason Gardiner and Emma Bunton removed from the panel of judges - Jason Gardiner because he is a useless waste of space. The only thing I had ever heard about him before DOI was that he is was "Cats" - aptly named musical as far as he is concerned. Emma Bunton has been doing the rounds for years trying to relive her glory days. Enough is enough.

I don't want to see a judge who has no experience of skating, I don't want to see a judge who thinks he is "entertaining" when, in reality, he is downright rude, I want judges on the panel who know ice-dancing inside out - be they famous or not.

Would you ask an apprentice carpenter to judge a master craftsman's work - of course you wouldn't and if you did - methinks you would be living in Cloud Cuckoo Land which is where the Programme makers of Dancing on Ice are living at the moment. ITV get your act together before you lose your viewers. Stop hyping up the programme to the point of being ridiculous and just let us see ice-dance being taught by professionals and judged by them.

Nice doesn't mean constructive, I think Karen's a waste of space on the panel, Robin is constructive, Nicky can be or can be a total clown.

I think Emma's settled in really well, I like Jason even if he goes too far, especially when he upsets the Mary Whitehouse brigade.

Robin, Karen and Nicky have all experience of actual SKATING, unlike Emma Bunton (you give me " goosebumps" seems to be her mantra) and Jason, so personal, and so rude, why??

I think Karen's too close to the contestants, even when she wants to be critical she dresses it up so much the point is lost.

Nicky, I like him but you do sometime wonder which Nicky will show up each week. The week he gave Hayley a 3 this year, the same stage last year he gave both Coleen and Melinda 4.5.

Robin, quite possibly the perfect judge. Not nasty but will say what he thinks. (Although I still hold a grudge that he voted off John Barrowman).

For every action you have an equal and opposite reaction, for Robin there is Jason. I know Jason goes too far for some people but he works well as part of the judging panel, and under the insults is constructive criticism.

I think Emma is looking at different part of performance and although I like hearing her comments. The gosebumps comment may seem trivial but it tells the contestants they are connecting emotionally with the audience.
