The judging puts me off watching this show

The judging is just so unpleasant. I am suprised that any celebrity wants to go on the show. Nasty comments are not very nice entertainment. The skating routines are short and then we have to watch arrogant judges for almost longer than the routines themselves.
That Jason Gardiner and his friend Emma Bunton who insists that he is a nice man are not even skaters and shouldn't be there.
I don't mind the other three judges because they are skaters.

I always thought they should split the marking, like Emma and Jason only marking on the dancing factor and the others on the skating technique. It would seem fairer as Emma and Jason don't seem to know that much about ice skating apart from whether it looks pretty.

I am fed up with Jason being asked for his opinion more than Robin, Karen and Nicky!

Jason I could do without fullstop...

I don't mind them having some non-skaters on the panel, if they stick to marking based on things like entertainment value, or style, or whatever. Just as long as they stop pretending to be experts on skating when they're not.

They could manage quite well with just 3 Judges!

I used to feel not too badly about Jason he was the pantomime character, but this year he is getting boring with his excesively nasty comments.

None of the judges have charisma or humour. Jason thinks he is injecting the humour, but he isn't.

Robin is bland - and as for calling him head judge, well that is nonsense, he seems to have no idea of what the others are saying, and he has so little interaction with them he might as well be sitting alone.

Nicky is gamely trying to be controversial and a bit nasty - he gets a lot of stick for it which I don't understand as at least he concentrates on the skating. Still, his voice and delivery is very tedious.

Karen, well, sickly and pleasant, either crying or looking like she is about to burst into tears. She'd be ok on a panel of interesting characters I suppose.

Emma could be ok. At least she has a bit of sparkle about her. I doesn't help when the crowd boo any hint of criticism.

As for Jason - I understand the need for someone like him on the panel - I just think ITV have failed spectacularly in their selection. He is devoid of any charm whatsoever. His sneers are not even pantomime. The bizarre thing is that the contestants seem to crave good marks and comments from him above all others.

If Robin is head Judge he should sit in the middle, he doesn't say much because he isn't asked for his opinion that often, Jason hgets to speak more than the others and by the time he is finished ranting on there's no time for anyone else to voice their opinion!
The few times that Karen does get to speak she is more confident than she used to be and gets her views across in a constructive manner!

I can't stand listening to Jason, he's so rude and most of the time he's not constructive - its uncomfortable to watch.

Actually I've found Emma to be commenting on what she's supposed to, I think she's doing ok.

I don't like Nicky, he's too erratic with his marking.

If they had 4 judges instead of 5 they could ask them all for their comments like they do on SCD.

I'd dump Jason in a heartbeat.

No, I won't be watching any more. It's hardly worth it, more focus on the judging than the skating. It's just no fun now, I'd rather watch more of the rehearsals than the presenters, thanks.

You're right, I got through the last programme, missing out the boring and annoying bits, in about 30 mins.

Sadly, another good programme gone bad. Just like SCD.

It's the judges which have spoilt SCD and DOI - such a shame - because they were good programmes before the judges got too big for their boots.

I think Robin / Karen and Nicky plus a non skater would be bearable, even if it was jason or Emma
