Humax HDR Rebooting
dougk
02-02-2010
Twice in the last 4 days our Humax has rebooted about a minute after a new recording has started.
On saturday it did this when dancing on ice the skate off had just started to record - we were watching BBC1 at the time it judt switched off and then restarted.Tonight it did the same around 10pm, this time whilst watching a program that had been recorded. This time it did not reboot but stayed in the standby until i pressed the power on button on the remote.
Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

It happened to me and many others on a well documented problem with BBC HD but that's weeks ago. Best advice note your recording schedule and do a factory reset

mmmm could be another case of BBC HD then...

Last night Survivors was recording on BBC HD so may just have got to the point finishing when it rebooted.

Sunday may have been the HD version of seven ages of Britain that caused the problem?

Is it a bug Humax needs to investigate?

The ocassion I refered to was a specific problem with an overun of one prog and the beeb screwed up the running change status flags. Not aware of any other problems since that isolated instance though.

I recorded BBC HD Survivors and How Earth Made Us and ITV 1 HD Amanda Holden last night.

Watched Survivors in chasing playback apart from a tiny bit of the ITV 1 HD opening credits chopped off all recorded fine.
