Doctor Who Pub Crawl

I've just got my copy of BEER magazine through my Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) membership and there's a 3 page DW related article in it.
It's a tour round some of London's pubs which have featured in DW.
Not sure wether the magazine is available elsewhere.

The only serials I can think of that prominently feature a pub are:

Battlefield
Terror of the Zygons
The Android Invasion
And they're all clearly sets.

Surely there wasn't a pub in Genesis?! !

Yeah - that's an odd one.

All the others had London filming (and it seems to be more a list of pubs near filming locations than pubs that actually appeared in the show) but I can't think of anything in Genesis that relates to that location?

That one did seem a bit odd to me too. The author does say that he has never been a fan of DW.

What it says is : "St Stephens Tavern on Bridge Street which sits opposite the Houses of Parliament, the setting for many episodes including "Genesis of the Daleks".

Time for letter to the editor?

Would this be a list of pubs there now, or ones that were actually there when the story was filmed and are still operating today?

Unless he is referring to Parliament being in several episodes? And the Dalek invasion one perhaps

I don't know for sure but all of them are quite old venues so I would assume the ones associated with the 60's stories were there at the time.

I presume the Parliament one should indeed mention Dalek Invasion rather than Genesis.
