Can't remember this, but when Fred Palascak was partnering Kay Burley, did he drop her? Was that during rehearsal or the live show? Anyone remember what happened? Don't recall hearing about any of the male skating pros dropping their partners before - it must have been unnerving for all concerned.

I remember an incident just before the live show where Kay fell and hit her head but I don't know whether it was Fred that dropped her or it was a stumble.

David Seaman and Pam O Connor had an accident practising the head banger in the first series, Pam cut her chin and they sat out the show that week and came back the week after!

He didn't drop her hard enough. Vile woman was the nastiest contestant ever on DOI. Poor Fred.

It was in the rehersal, I think she fell coming out of a lift mostly because she insisted on doing moves she wasn't capable of and not working on her basic skating. Pav dropped Jess last year.

Number six - I do remember the Pam dropping incident, but I suppose it's more common for the more inexperienced male celebs to be grinding their partners' heads in to the ice!

I presume it must partly be the female celeb's fault when there is a drop, as they are not as experienced at saving themselves as the female pros.

Jill, don't know how I forgot Jess' fall/Pavel's drop last year! She was quite winded wasn't she? And wasn't that before they even got on the ice! So you think Fred should have drop-kicked Kay then?

Oh man, she was irritating in a Craig Kelly style. Insisted all the time that she was better than she actually was and grated horribly on the nerves as a result. I'd have dropped her and made it look like an accident too

Having just come from the Showbiz forum, I see she's not very popular with Peter Andre fans today either!

She was horrible to Fred! She whinged about not being able to do the difficult stuff and had a go at Fred for suggesting she master the basics first. I get the feeling she didn't listen to a word of advice given to her, because she came out of lifts horribly and had no idea how to save herself when falling. I remember said lift in question during rehearsals, she could have put her arms out to save herself, it just looked like she lost control coming out of it and just flopped onto the ice.

I don't generally have an opinion on the whole Katie/Peter thing other than "I don't care", but that did reaffirm my view that Kay's not my most favourite person...

Yeah that was nasty. How we she like someone to ask her if she wanted to lose her kids.
