Hi Folks

I am on orange with a Nokia 6310i How can I stop the following texts coming thru. (You are a winner or Call 0871 etc,etc) I am getting right Pi**ed off with it.

Any help with this Spam would be appreciated

Register your mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service. (http://www.tpsonline.org.uk) Since 11 December 2003 it is unlawful to send an unsolicited SMS marketing message to an individual.

All telemarketing companies have to check with TPS before contacting individuals. If your numbers are on the list then they can be prosecuted for calling/texting you.

I registered my home phone number last year, and have had hardly any marketing calls since. I've just registered my mobile number, so too early to comment on texts yet.
