is there any reason for it?

I wouldnt lever my belly in to a skin tight t-shirt if I had a belly.

I am a "fat lass" and I would NEVER wear leggings, or jeggings.

I don't like seeing my own fat hang our of anything so I'm certainly not going to inflict it on anyone else.

Why they sell these things in bigger sizes I don't know

BTW - I am a size 24 so I am not talking about 16/18's here

How do fat lasses in leggings equate to either fashion or beauty?

There is actually a thread in the fashion forum about this, I know because I contributed.

It's much better suited to GD though, not many people of in F&B

"fat lasses in leggings" - made me LOL. Sounds like some twisted album title.

Oh right the OP is just an attention seeker.

Just in case i get labelled fatist or something. I'm not exactly slimmer of the year, not huge but not skinny either. The fact is different body shapes suit different clothes and the larger body type really doesn't suit leggings at all.

Becasue they are cheap & dont eat in to the fags & booze fund.... sorry benefits money. Child benefit only covers so many tracksuits & earings.

Give them a break! It's not like they have alot of options.
I think leggings with a nice long, loose fitted top can look quite smart on a larger lady.

As a fatty, I agree. I saw these, specifically made for larger sizes and wondered why anyone of a size 16-32 would want to force themselves into such a hideous garment. (The model used isn't even fat and looks ridiculous).

I suspect they feel it makes them look less fat, than something baggy?

No fewer overweight men seem to wear overly tight and short tee shirts. Equally frightful but their choice.

Of course they do. Women's clothing in high street retailers goes up to very generous sizes.

As has been pointed out, it's about wearing what looks appropriate on a particular body shape and size. Even skinny girls can't wear anything they like because some things just won't look right on them.

Sadly a lot of women and girls can't seem to accept that not everyone can wear whatever they like and get away with it not looking as if they've dressed in the dark at a church jumble sale.

As soon as I saw the words "So Fabulous", I just knew they wouldn't be.......

I don't like looking at leggings on fat people, thin people or skinny people.

They are just awful things!
