I'm what you might consider "normal" (or "a bit chubby" if you work for the Daily Mail ) at a size 10, and I still won't wear leggings unless I'm wearing a long top to cover my bum - no one should be subjected to that!

Leggings can create a serious camel toe if you're not careful, ladies. Always keep 'em covered!

How has this gone 3 pages without the phrase CAMEL TOE

EDIT - The very last post. How did I not read the last post.

I'm fat and occasionally wear leggings. I would only wear them like rights ie with a long top/dress or skirt. I hate the t-shirt and leggins look or short top and leggings look on anyone. Its not good.

I like wearing nice clothes. Ones that fit me well. I'd feel like a right slob if I went around in big baggy horrible clothes all the time.

I'm a tubsy, and I wear leggings just about every time I go on a night out. I wear them under above-knee-length dresses like the one in the link below, they feel nicer and are more covering than tights. I also wear them about the house under long tops and cardis, but very rarely in the daytime unless I've got my long fake uggs on. Not had any complaints either!

There is already a forum about this. Isn't it annoying when someone sees a popular forum and then just copies it??

Anyway, leggings are probably just something larger people can fit into easily.

Just because a woman is fat doesn't mean her legs necessarily are. My mother has skinny legs (which I've also inherited) although the rest of her is quite large. She looks good in leggings with a long jumper over the top.

I'm also cursed with skinny legs!

Although I'm a size 8/10 on top, my legs are thin and don't look good in leggings. I prefer jeans and boots which gives the appearance of fattening them up a bit.

Well, my mother is absolutely nowhere near as fat as Heather in eastenders! LOL.

Power to you.

There's nothing wrong with big girls wearing leggings. A lot of the time it makes their legs look nice and adds shapes.

So what if there thighs look big, often they look powerful can make them appear more attractive.

Today I saw a girl in leggins with solid looking thighs, when she walked there was some jiggling and so it wasn't all muscel but I wouldn't say it looked bad at all.
