Does anybody know, or have any links showing what Matt Smith will wear.

He was last seen in DT's clothing, but he's obviously not going to wear exactly the same as DT.

There were pics posted of him in costume last July, sorry don't have link, ankle boots, bow tie and tweed jacket!

In the new DWM it says the clothes were all Matt Smiths choice, the producers had chosen clothes that were more Pirates of the Caribbean esque, which Smith rejected. He had just watched Tomb of the Cybermen and decided The Doctor had to have a bow tie.

And of course, the trailer and other bits at the BBC site show him in his new outfit

I haven't read this bit of DWM yet. What a great quote! Lovely to see our new hero getting stuck in and enjoying our old heroes!

yeah, Moffat thought that the Bow tie was an outdated cliché of Dr Who at first. But the day before shooting was due to start, Matt asked if he could try his own tweed jacket on, and the look was born!

sounds like a classic story

Anyone heard how Pertwee got his look?

Exactly what I was thinking.

Funnily enough I always had in mind a sort of pirate look for a Doctor. I'm glad Matt didn't go for it as I can't imagine him like that.

From the few filming shots I've seen, it's a shame they can't find an excuse to use those huge blue ski-type coats on camera.

Yes! Can they make a plot reason for everyone to be wearing North Face jackets?

They're on the final filming block (the last three episodes).
So basically they're just finishing the finale.

Scooty, whom I doubt would be wrong about this, said on Gally Base yesterday that the Doctor wears a Fez in episodes 12 and 13. Just like that.

To broaden the thread out, which Doctor do you think had the best attire?

I'm voting for the 9th Doctor, Christopher Ecclestone.

He certainly had the coolest dress sense of all the Doctors, although, tbf, it is obviously due to the time period.

THE Colin Baker. His Doctor's suit was monochrome before he put it on and irradiated it with awesomeness.
