Designer/Director Tom Ford Agrees with Jason?

Really? If so, I am really surprised, Tom look to well-put together and his Oscar-worthy film starring Colin Firth was really good. But if this is true, then... *big disappointed sigh*

Sounds like the barrel being scraped to me, by a man desperate to keep his limelight from flickering and dying.

Tom Ford? Hardly a household name in the true sense, and as far as I remember, not exactly a stranger to controversial comments himself. I wouldn't be bringing him out as big-gun backup if i were Jason.

Like kids in the playground - bully their peers, then point their fingers and laugh hilariously at their self perceived wit.

Their type never learn.

He's just directed his first feature which by all acounts is a bloody good one. I don't think he needs Dancing On Ice to raise his profile.

Seems Jason's wrong for calling Sharron names but its okay to slag someone of if they defend Jason. Hypocrites.

Did you read the article? It wasn't Tom Ford saying he thought it was acceptable, it was Jason name-dropping that he'd bumped into Tom Ford at a premiere and reporting what he thought.

So actually it has nothing to do with TF wanting to raise his profile or not. It has to do with Jason using his famous mates to keep himself in the spotlight. If TF himself had bothered to speak to the press and defend Jason then that would be different.

I've read the reviews of the film as well and I don't think I said anything to slag TF off. I slagged Jason off for using TF as a tool to drag out the whole publicity around himself.

Learn to read, and then call me a hypocrite if you want to. You'd still be wrong.

Leaving aside the rights and wrongs of the original incident, this story does smack a bit of desperation on Jason's part.

It just sounds as though he's saying,
"Well I don't care what any of you nobodies thought about what I said, cos my mate right, who's miles more famous than any of you lot right, thinks my remark was dead good and funny so there!"

Very good Jason. Have a merit mark and some extra playtime.

Jason's tweet about Tom Ford agreeing with him was his way of trying to justifying his comments to Sharron and I personally thought that him saying that negated his apology to Sharron so to that effect, I tweeted him (and Philip) on our twitter http://www.twitter.com/DOI2010 with just that.

Jason's last tweet saying it didn't negate his apology and 'move on' was in reply to us.

If you apologise then you need to leave it at that, no "But..."
