Is there any clothing (clothes or shoes) or outfits that you simply won't wear, ever? |

I would never ever ever wear anything by Primark, or even go in there. Vile, cheap and trashy rubbish.

That "dress" in the First impressions thread.
Actually anything bodycon, I know you can get shaping underwear (to a point) but tbh I'd rather spend what little cash I have on the clothes that are actually seen. |

Absolutely anything from Primark.
The cheap fibres they use are enough to give you asthma! |

Tracksuit.
Puffball sleeves - I'm not one of Henry 8ths wives. 3/4 skirts. Denim skirts. Crop tops. Leather - faux or real - it makes women look brash, brassy, cheap and vulgar. Anything green or red. Denim jackets. Football shirts or any other "man clothing". Crocs. White trainers, infact, most trainers. Anything which looks like market/Primark cheap, lycra tat. High necked tops. Roll necked tops. Flared jeans or any other wide legged trouser. Things with pathetic slogans on them such as "Save the Rave" - I've got a couple of Amplified and HOH tee's I've been bought as gifts but I use 'em as sloppy PJ's ONLY! Poncho's, tabbards or anything of that nature which will make me look like a vegetarian fart. Ethnic prints or tie 'n' dye - anything which looks like it should be draped over a chronic weed smokers sofa. |

Please explain the crocs hate???
On hols a couple of years ago my feet were swollen in the heat and the buckle on my sandals cut into my foot - it was agony. Hubby and I passed a shop with a Crocs display so I thought I would try them - oh, the bliss! The point is they are fit for purpose - and great on the beach. |

For example, I would never wear Vans or Converse trainers and I would never be one of those people who wear a short vest (or short t-shirt) just with leggings. A long top, that's fine.
Also I would never wear tracksuit bottom (like Nike, adidas etc) unless I was going for a jog or to the gym. ![]() I have two pair of converse boots, they are much loved, one pair is red tarten and the other pair is grey. I love them they are so comfy and trousers hang well over them. I would never wear those skirts/dresses that have the raggy bottom, I don't know what they are called but the bottom is all different lengths. Dresses that are made of slinky material. Any item of clothing that has prints of food on, like cherries or strawberries. Trousers, you know like slacks. A blouse, I can't wear a blouse. Ugg boots. A fascinator. |

I find Primark stuff good for the price. There is bad stuff in there but that's the same with the middle priced high street stores.

I just don't like the look of Crocs at all, they remind me of gardening clogs. I've tried on a pair to see why everyone says they are comfortable but they just felt oversized and would feel extremely uncomfortable and knew I'd feel awkward wearing them out and about.
For practical summer/beach footwear when I don't want to wear flip flops I wear Birkenstocks - I think they look nice and casual but they are very comfortable - they do feel odd at first but they take a few wears for your feet to break into them. Maybe thats what Crocs do too? |

I also will never wear harem trousers, they're so unflattering on everyone. Me and my boyfriend call them shit catchers lol.
I also will not wear high heels with pointed toes unless it is a peep toe. |

The majority of Primark stuff is tat, but occasionally you'll find a hidden gem.
I bought my winter coat in there for £15 (I think), it looks smart and is very warm. I've seen almost identical ones in River Island, Topsop, et al, at 4 times the price. I love a bargain
