This seems to be replacement for Shipwrecked. 6 inexpereinced backpackers travel around Indonesia and are set several challenges in order to win £10,000 and be crowned Ultimate Traveller. Seems interesting. Watching now.

This lot are so pathetic, they don't have a clue... The muscle boy going on about the boy who's leaving is pathetic himself, for not realising you don't stay in expensive hotels as backpackers....
The hostel accomodation they stayed in the first night was actually pretty good standard I thought. That is if you're being realistic of course, and don't expect it to be like a 'youth hostel' in Britain...
But I have to say it may be good viewing, even if it's just to see how bad they are...

I'm glad you posted this thread, I didn't know anything about this and as it comes under the reality tv genre I am bound to like it, I have just checked and they have the two episodes that have already been aired on 4 on demand so I will catch up there. Be back later to tell you what I think.

I have just watched the first two episodes, first impressions is it's pretty good, definitely the sort of thing I would normally watch.
I can't believe that Gareth gave up the opportunity to do something like that (for free I'm sure) after just two days, although it is better for the show as all he did was sleep anyway.
I can't say I like Andrew much, arrogant if you ask me but is probably one of the best equipped for the traveling and bartering.
I personally really like Chloe and again I think she is well equiped for the tasks ahead and will soak up the whole cultural aspect of it, I don't think she has a cat in hells chance of winning though as she doesn't have the likeability to secure enough votes from the others. She is already getting on at least three peoples nerves.
I'm not warming to Chantelle at all, I think she has a real class issue with Chloe which is totally unfair as Chloe doesn't seem to be looking down on any of the others.
Lewis seems cool although we haven't really seen much of him yet.
The other Lad (can't remember his name) will get on well with all of the other contestants and has a chance of winning IMO, as long as he doesn't alienate Mairi Claire over the fact that he fancies her. That could blow it for him. I also can't believe that him and Andrew went all the way to the other side of the world and spent a large proportion of there remaining budget for the week sitting in a room playing computer games,
Mairi Claire definitley has a couple of things going for her
On a serious note she is another potential winner IMO.
I like the idea of the next task, not being able to use any maps or guide books sounds like it could be interesting, hopefully it will be good, I'm looking forward to next weeks episode now.

I like Chloe too! Not sure why the others don't seem to like her very much. I've only just caught on to this show - think it looks good.
i watched the show on sunday just by chance then watched the previous shows on 4od and im getting right into it
any one else notice nathan had his hair cut when did that happen. what do think about nathan and chloe any one else think mairi claire will get jealous?
i really like Chloe, ok she may be more picky about things than the others, but she can't help her background, and i actually think she has done vey well and much better as it's gone along. This week with Mairi an Louis she really didn't moan at all and did really well. I;m glad andrew has gone cus he was turning peoplea aginst her. However, the tide is turning now and Marie got on really well with her and it looks like Nathan does too next week, depsite being brainwashed by Andrew against her. Maybe it will show Shontelle that she is alright and she will realise andrew was playing a game.
Although i doubt it, Shontelle is awful, if anyones got an attitude it's her, so i dunno why she has venom towards Chloe for it.

That arrogant idiot Andrew left the show and Mairi claire and Chloe did really well on the challenge.
Lewis made me laugh after watching Mairi Claire snogging the yank she had just met when he said "if I was her father I'd keep her locked in forever"

what id like to know though is whether Andy Pandy gave all that prize money he stashed the week before to his companions before he left. After all, by giving himself a black eye he ruined their chances of winning the weekly task.

I wondered that, whether he was alowed to pass on the stashed money, it hasn't been mentioned thats for sure.
This show is great - much more interesting than Shipwrecked. Shame it doesn't seem to be very popular on here.

Definitely. I only just started watching this last week but I'm already into it. I used to like Shipwrecked back in the day when it was just the one island and they all had to get on with each other while Morcheeba played as the theme tune. Then they went over dramatic trying to add tension with the two island thing, plus the excess amount of ponces and ra ra girls that frequent the show just got too much for me to take
Me and my housemate are sort of addicted to this, its become a bit of a routine.
Nathan and Chloe are my favourites.
Lewis is a bit rude.
The other two are just irritating.

I still haven't watched todays episode yet but I will be surprised if chloe can pick up enough votes to win, although she does have a better chance now that prat Andrew has buggered off.
