Endemol post Big Brother????

Taken from Teletext, page134/2 16 April

"The BBC is planning a Big Brother-style reality show in which up to 12 families are monitored for six months.

It has the working title of Families and will examine how families socialise together. Big Brother makers Endemol have appealed for volunteers and candidate families will be assessed.

BBC bosses want a wide cross section of people from different ethnic and social backgrounds to take part. Hidden cameras and microphones will be used like the famous Channel 4 show."

Looks like Endemol are making contingency plans for the next big reality show if and when BB5 flops!!!

Wouldn't this be filling the gap in the reality tv programming schedule left by the now defunct 'Fame Academy'?

They're not making plans incase BB5 flops! There is a version of BB in almost every country, and so I doubt they will care too much if it flops here, because they still got it in all the other places. Plus, Endemol don't only make BB, they make loads of other reality shows too!

Thanks for the link. Looking at that and thinking about it, who on earth is going to let their family be put under scrutiny like that? Bb are against putting parents of school age children into the BB house for fear their children will be victimised at school, can you imagine some of the flak they might get if the press decides they don't like them??
