Non freesat mode recording HumaxHDR
Hi,
If I start a manual recording in non freesat mode, will it record the whole programme? or is there a timer type function. Want to record the Superbowl tonight and don't want to miss it. Thanks |

Recorded from a non freesat channel for the first time this week. Tuned in and pressed record button interactively. Recorded but whereas the epg was for a 5 hour show only two hours were recorded. Damn.
May be a restriction or something. Next time I'll try the second button press trick. |

This has been my biggest moan ever since I bought the Humax. I wanted to multi sat but all the functions DISCEQ and Non Freesat mode are essentially useless to me because of the lack of any kind of epg. I never even use Non Freesat mode at all because of the timer restrictions and the fact that you miss schedule ins Freesat mode if in non Freesat mode. Surely a company such as Humax could share some technology with Sky in exchange for the right to use their epg info for other channels / sats in non freesat mode and why the hell can't Humax make it so the box can run both modes simoultaneously so using one doesn't lose recordings in the other. |
