There's more mist than is absolutely neccessary...actually, why do they need a mist effect anyway?

I hate it when they have the singers on the ice, they show the singers too often and we (the viewers at home) cant see the skating. We can hear the music whether the camera is on the singers or not, but we cant see the skating without the camera being on the skaters.
