A special thread for Alexandra's dress

Absolutely beautiful.... the nicest dress of the series so far. That stunning midnight blue and silver was just perfect. She is a gorgeous girl.

I agree - a truly beautiful dress. I wish they'd give Sharron something like that to wear instead of the silly, skimpy outfits she's saddled with, making it look like she's heading off for a swim instead of ice skating. A gorgeous dress would make her look more feminine and not make her legs look as long. I know long legs on a woman are usually considered as asset, but on DOI they can be too long, making her look ungainly.

Totally agree. I was disappointed when she came out tonight wearing a skimpy swimsuit number again.Sharon needs something to soften those angular, athletic lines. Especially as she is being criticised for being ungainly. What seems so simple to us just doesn't seem to ocurr to whoever makes the decision as to what the celebs will wear! It baffles me!

That's the sort of costume more likely to be seen in competition, but didn't it look elegant compared to some of the garish get ups? I know some of the costumes are fun especially on themed nights but it's nice to see something more classy.

Alexandra's dress was nice and Mel always looks fantastic....I wonder if some of her outfits are her own?
