I think they must read this forum.

The scoring seems more realistic this week, imo.

This week was some of the most ludicrous marking ever.

Kieron undermarked again.

If Hayley and Dan were overmarked I'd say it was by no more than a half point.
Danny and Frankie probably deserved an extra half mark.
I thought Gary and Maria on a par with Danny and Frankie - so yes a little undermarked
Emily and Fred definitely undermarked - mostly due to the preening prat aka Jason.
Daniella and Matthew - vastly overmarked for a tentative and uninspiring performance.
Mikey and Mel - about right. That was not good - on performance alone they should have gone - but his fans put their money where there mouths are, so no argument; he stays.

Gary and Maria were severely overmarked. (it was just a mess, and Gary looked deeply embarrassed and uncomfortable throughout)
Hayley and Dan were slightly overmarked.
Emily and Fred were about right really (big improvement for her).
Danny and Frankie were maybe a little overmarked (still a big improvement though )
Kieron and Brianne were undermarked (but they're probably used to that by now! )
Daniella and Matthew were overmarked (much as I like them, it wasn't a great performance)
Mikey and Mel were overmarked (really really poor performance, unfortunately )

Gary and Maria were very overmarked.
Hayley and Dan were not !! Not even close to being overmarked. They deserved every point they got.
Emily and Fred were not.
Kieron and Brianne were not.
Daniella and Matt were - strange performance for her, really weak with no solo skating. The 5 from Karen was ridiculous.
Mikey and Mel should have received no more than 1.5 from all the judges. What a mess!

I don't normally worry too much about under/over marking as long as the leader board looks about right and the weakest skater goes....
I think though that Kieron is now being consistently undermarked. I know he has some occasional wobbly moments, but each week he puts on a performance and is trying increasingly difficult things. He gets mostly good comments and yet the marks don't reflect the comments. It's beginning to irritate me now!!

Being undermarked can work in his favour especially if the voting public think so too just as someone being overmarked week after week can turn the public against them,

Danny they looked stuck on to me. The VT majored on what he was improving and when he improved it they had to give him more marks and he then added a decent jump - but if you looked at what else was there it wasn't much of a routine. They couldn't blame T and D for imgination failure so they gave it a high mark relative to anyone else.

Daniella did OK with weaker choregraphy - she can't get more if the tariff or tune isn't there. I got the suspicion they are downplaying her and adding negative spin as she's not doing the tour and playing Gary up - lets see next week.

Gary looked like he got the best routine and music of the week to me - not sure he sold it.

Kieron looked a bit better than his mark to me.

Hayley looked about right to me - the routine they wrote her could have been better.

They can try but she still comes across very well in her Vts.

Gary and Maria - Bad routine, executed poorly and still scored 20+ - overmarked
Hayley and Dan - Can't really comment as I can't stand them
Emily and Fred - I thought about right - certainly her best so far.
Danny and Frankie - improved, but the routine was dull - overmarked
Kieron and Brianne - wobbly at the beginning, but better than Daniella, Emily and Gary's and more interesting than Danny's - Undermarked
Daniella and Matthew - Just odd really, didn't seem to flow - overmarked
Mikey and Mel - thought this was bad, but marked accordingly

Meaning you thought their score was fair, and their place at the top of the leader board well deserved

Why can't you comment on Hayley and Dan? Are you afraid you might have to say they were the best?

I thought Danny deserved his hig marks, but for the jump (easily the best of the night, imo), not for that they said had improved so much (since it hadn't).

Kieron was under-marked, imo, and Danialla over. I thought Daniella had a terrible routine, and to have one this close to the end that had so much non-skating dancing is a scandal.

Imo, both Daniella and Emily were given routines that hurt their chances rather than helped. T or D said they were giving Emily a big lift to help her, but they should know by now that lifts don't help in that way.

Hayley had the best routine, I thought, and the most enjoyable.

Re "adding negative spin" to Daniella.

I didn't think she came across very well this week. She seemed quite "hard", didn't seem to be enjoying it, and I was left wondering why it was so important to her.

Then you would not have posted what you did if that was your intention because it didn't work, did it?
