Imo, both Daniella and Emily were given routines that hurt their chances rather than helped. T or D said they were giving Emily a big lift to help her, but they should know by now that lifts don't help in that way.

Hayley had the best routine, I thought, and the most enjoyable.

Re "adding negative spin" to Daniella.

I didn't think she came across very well this week. She seemed quite "hard", didn't seem to be enjoying it, and I was left wondering why it was so important to her.”

Have to agree with all you say. I've been trying to put my finger on why Daniella's routine didn't click for me and I think maybe you're right that she really didn't actually skate much. As for Emily, I think a big lift for added excitement was probably the only way to go since her solo skating was still weak and her performance was also a little dull, but I do agree that big lifts don't seem to be universally popular.

Oh yes, and definitely agree Danny had the best jump of the night. I think without his fall and loss of confidence, Kieron's might have beaten him judging by the film of the early part of week, but on the night the victory goes to Danny.

Yep I agree with both your and Veri's post. Danny's jump was by far the best, and I also agree about Daniella and the others. It's actually a shame. I really like Daniella, but she seems to have lost a bit of her early appeal (I don't know why, maybe it is the lack of skating). Having said that I enjoyed Hayley's performance though, it didn't necessarily set my heart on fire either.
