Yellow nails
I have been using OPI orginal Nail envy and it is brilliant stuff really sorted my peeling nails!!!! but i have been using it for ages and i have noticed when i have bare nails they are a yellowing colour! yuk! not sure if it is nail envy causing it, i do follow the instructions on using it , any suggestions on how to get rid of the yellowing??

Not sure you can get rid of it any time quickly but start applying a clear nail polish as a base before using coloured nail polish which will prevent nails yellowing. Eventually, as the nails grow, they'll be back to normal.
![]() EDIT: I haven't thought this through properly. You need the nail envy to go directly on to the nail. Ignore what i said. It's either yellow nails or chapped nails unless anyone comes up with another idea. Sorry.

i use the nail envy 2 coats as a base coat before putting colour on and it still yellows the nails

This happened to me when I used yellow nail polish!
I ended up using an emery board and filing the yellow off! Then buffed them and my nails were back to normal. I was embarassed having yellow nails I looked like a 40 a day smoker! |

Using product on your nail constantly will cause yellowing of the nail. Not much you can do. Putting fingers in lemon juice doesnt really help. Imo you need to let the nail breathe for a week.
