I cant test my fish water....
Joel's dad
08-02-2010
due to the water being a deep blue colour thanks to some antibiotics I bought for my fish who had pop eye.

First off the fish looks much better, although I'm sure his eyes are still slightly popped, but much much better!!

I have done a 50% water change today and cleaned the filter, and although the water is still blue its a little less dark.

How do I get my water clear again?? I bought an API water master kit, thanks to suggestions on.

Any help is greatly appreciated..

Also thanks for all the help I have received to day, its hard taking in so much information as a newbie, so every little helps..

And I must be doing something right as touch wood, no fish have perished!!

Are you sure it is antibiotic and not Methelyne Blue?

If MB, pop a carbon filter in the filter. It'll remove the MB but will need to be removed itself within 2 weeks.
